Launched in Noyes Slough by Jim Binkley off of University Avenue. This was used for transporting supplies along the rivers of Interior Alaska until other modes of travel such as by air, road, and rail took over the transportation. But the Binkleys' couldn't just scrap or get rid of their riverboats so as an alternative, they purchased 2 other paddle-wheeled riverboats to grow into a river cruise for those who want to learn about traditions in the State of Alaska
