Fairbanks International Airport is a state functioned airport located just southwest of the Fairbanks City Limits. Like the East Ramp, the only MACS Transit Route serving this airport is the Yellow Line. However, for those arriving by airline to this destination there are other types of ground transportation such as rental cars, taxi services, hotel shuttles and tour buses. There is ticket counters and kiosks available depending on the air carrier, baggage service, restrooms, Transportation Security Administration checkpoint, gift shops on both floors, Starbucks Coffee and a restaurant called The Local are both on the second floor. Alaska Airlines will fly passengers from Ted Stevens International Airport and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Delta Airlines serves this airport year-round to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport during the summer season only. United will only fly between here and Chicago during the summer season.
